Lesson of Pyramid:
The pyramid represents the form of the physical body emerging from the earth and ascending towards the light of the sun. The ancient Egyptians saw the shape of the pyramids as a method of providing new life to the dead. On a spiritual level, and in our yogic practice, we can use pyramid pose for the integration of the self and the soul; grounding into Mother Gaia, finding balance as we connect to our inner Soleil.

Benefit of the pose :
Strong grounding and balancing pose
Calms the nervous system
Stretches and elongates the spine
Stretches, aligns and strengthens the feet (pada bandha), ankles, knees and hips
Stretches the hamstrings
Considerations:
With Hamstring or back injuries, be sure to keep micro bend in knees and go slow following the breath
Neck injuries be aware of elongating the neck and relaxing shoulders down
Students with high blood pressure should move slowly with the breath and be aware of any dizziness
Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
